Activities within the Seniors section
The main objective of the Seniors Committee is to promote and organise golf within the section in a friendly atmosphere. Enjoyment is key.

The seniors meet three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays throughout the year.
A wide variety of team competitions are played, for example: Texas Scramble, Bowmakers, Yellow Ball, Waltz, Greensomes etc. You are welcome to enter as many or as few as you choose.
There is at least one monthly qualifying medal or stableford.
During the year, the Seniors also play for a total of sixteen cups/trophies comprising a mix of formats played in pairs or as individuals.
The Seniors’ Captain and Competition Secretary also organise Inter-Club friendly matches which are posted on the Seniors’ notice board well in advance. A list of these friendly matches is included on the Seniors’ web section. Also included is the completed Diary for 2021.
There are also inter-club and open senior championships to be played for, both home and away.
